Tiger Island in the Thousand Islands off Jakarta, Indonesia (Pulau Macan di Pulau Seribu)

How many Islands in Indonesia’s Thousand Islands?

Is this where the salad dressing comes from? So many questions.

Pulau Macan (Tiger Island) is one of the furthest islands from Jakarta in the chain known as the Thousand Islands. Its a lovely little Eco-village that makes for a great weekend getaway. From Jakarta it is just that bit easier than getting to Bali and its super relaxing.

There is a mangrove tree sitting by itself on the island structure and I went to take a photo at dusk while the tide was low which came out nicely. The island itself is compact as you can see from the drone images.
