Seascapes and Landscapes: Second Valley and Rapid Bay

Driving south from Adelaide (South Australia) you quickly get past the suburbs and into the Fleurieu Peninsula. Which is to say rolling hills and seascapes.

I took my camera but it wasn’t a photography visit, so these are just images I snapped during our walk.

Lunch at the Yankalilla Bakery (reviewed here by someone with enthusiasm for the place). We enjoyed the map on the bags and the pasty was excellent.

Second Valley is an underrated beauty.

Just past Second Valley is Rapid Bay. Famous for its fishing and diving, having decommissioned its old quarry, the remnants of the Jetty and Structures remain.

The bay itself is beautiful and worth a walk down the jetty.
