22 Street Portraits from Muara Angke, Jakarta, Indonesia

Most Indonesians love having their photo taken which makes for some great street portrait opportunities.

Sure, its not the pure street photography of “capturing real life without interference”, but it sure can be fun.

In the mornings the fish markets in Muara Angke, North Jakarta have some interesting people going about their business. Often willing to pose for a photo if you ask nicely (hold up the camera, smile, and ask “Boleh?”).
